Registration for UBTIC 23rd Session is still open

The 23rd Session of the Uzbek-British Trade & Industry Council (UBTIC) is scheduled to take place on 17 November 2016 in Tashkent and will be held with support of the UK and Uzbek Governments. The event will be hosted by the Uzbek Government. The Uzbek delegation will be led by H. E. Mr Elyor Ganiev, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan and UBTIC Co-Chair. The British delegation will be led by Dame Barbara Hay, UBTIC Co-Chair.

The agenda of the Plenary Session, list of the Uzbek delegation participating at the event and delegation visit programme can be accessed via registration link below. The British Embassy in Tashkent together with the local partners have prepared a series of events and meetings for the UK delegation planning to attend UBTIC which will be taking place on November 16 and 18. Their aim is to provide a good opportunity to discuss business cooperation with both Government officials and private business circles.

British companies interested in participating should register by following the below link. In the process of registration, please indicate if your company would like to have a separate meeting with any Uzbek Government official not mentioned in the delegation list, or any company operating in Uzbekistan. The British Embassy in Tashkent can assist with the arrangement of these meetings, provided meeting requests are communicated allowing sufficient time for the arrangements, to ensure you are able to get the most out of your visit to Tashkent.

Your attendance at the event is FREE. Translation for the UBTIC Plenary Session will be provided. However, companies are responsible for their own travel arrangements and costs, including visa fees, flights, accommodation, transportation and translation cost for individual meetings in/outside of Tashkent.
